Adults and Teenagers

Counselling for Teenagers & Adults
Every life stage brings its own pressures. Teenagers often navigate academic stress, identity, peer relationships, social media pressure, and family expectations — all while their sense of self is still forming.
Adults face a different set of challenges: career pressure, relationships, parenting, burnout, or simply the weight of everyday responsibilities.
Mindwizz offers counselling specifically shaped around these different life stages, so teens get age-appropriate, relatable support, and adults get counselling that respects their independence and lived experience.
Sessions run 50–60 minutes, available in person at our Lalmatia, Dhaka office or online. For clients under 18, an initial conversation with a parent or guardian may be part of the process.
Our Approach
For teenagers, we use age-appropriate, collaborative approaches that build trust first — creating a space where they feel genuinely heard rather than lectured, while working closely with parents where appropriate to support a healthy home environment. For adults, we draw on evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and person-centred therapy, respecting your autonomy and adapting to the specific pressures of your life stage.Across both, sessions are confidential and paced around what the client is ready for — not a fixed script.
How does it work?
- Reach out — Call, WhatsApp, or fill out our contact form to request an appointment (parents/guardians can inquire on behalf of teenagers).
- Get matched — We connect you or your teenager with a psychologist experienced in that specific age group.
- First session — A relaxed conversation to build trust and understand the situation and goals.
- Ongoing sessions — Continued support at a pace appropriate to the client's age and needs.
